How’s this… for earrings?

Kearabetswe Setlhare aka Rabi..my good friend and class mate just had to make my mind wander today.

A good description for her unique pair of light salmon, marble-like earrings that I couldn’t resist photographing, is that is very much resembles that of DNA.

This special piece of clearly well hand crafted jewellery, was found at flea market in her hometown Mafikeng. They’re wired, with a pearl glare, and glass feel in the shape of DNA. It also beautifully compliments the simple, yet stunning dress she made. A boob tube, in light pink, almost shrimp/coral-coloured, polka-dotted fabric. When asked what inspired this design, and style, Rabi says, “I just had fabric lying around, and decided to make a dress.”

Spoken like a true fashion designer indeed.

What interesting jewellery pieces do you have? Does it resemble anything unusual?
